Thanksgiving!

Unfortunately...Jae and I had to spend Thanksgiving apart this year :(

But I did enjoy my time off from work and the oportunity to spend the week with my family in Hamilton.

Thanksgiving morning my sisters Anneke and Emarie and myself ran the Turkey Trot 8k race in Missoula!

Here we are before the run...

clean, energetic and happy to be alive!

AFTER!!!

Looks like we held it together pretty good!

We got gloves instead of t-shirts

happy, sweaty, feeling dead

We hurried home to gather the meal and the family and begin our trip over the river, through the woods, to the Moerkerke's cabin up past Darby!

Me and Vixen...my little fox!

At the cabin, my brother Max, his new baby Keiken and my sister Anneke.

Anneke with Keiken and her beautiful momma, Shoko. My new big sister!

Hey we clean up pretty good for having ran 5 miles in the bitter cold that morning!

(Sorry the following pictures are so small)

Max, Shoko and Keiken

All us crazy kids: Anneke(Boo Boo), Bohni (Bohemian), Max (Botz),

Haeli(Cookie), Hagan(Hagatha or Lucas), Emarie (Em'ie St. Clair)

Me and Hatchimitsu (Honey) or Hatchi for short because it means Bee and Keiken's middle name is Bea...I'm SO the clever aunt.

Auntie Em and Dorothy...I mean Keiken

Hatchi-San!

Bohni was so nice to volunteer to take this picture so that Mama could be in the photo! Maybe we'll have to photoshop her into it later!

  4. Wish I could have run with you! Sorry we missed you at Thanksgiving. My boys loved Jaxon, though. They have this comic book that has a picture of a man with a beard and it really does look kind of like Jaxon, and whenever they see it, they point and shout that it's Jaxon. I thought it was cute and observant. Anyways...just wanted to share that.
